Customer Reviews
Free and functional
Needed a good solution for app deployment that wouldn't break the bank. fastlane was free, which was a huge plus. It does exactly what I needed for automating builds and uploads. Definitely felt like I got more than my money's worth, since I paid nothing!
Smooth setup, good integration
I recently integrated fastlane into our CI/CD pipeline for an iOS project. The documentation was thorough, which made installing the Ruby gem straightforward. I used fastlane match for code signing and fastlane deliver for App Store uploads. Both worked as advertised. Delivery to the App Store usually took about 15-20 minutes after the build was ready, which is decent. Support from the community forums was responsive when I had a specific question about an obscure Xcode setting. The quality of the tools felt robust. It saved us a lot of manual work. Will use it for Android next.
Great value, minor hiccup
I decided to try fastlane for automating our app releases. The overall experience was quite good. It's free, which is fantastic for a small team like ours. Setting up fastlane pilot for TestFlight management was easy enough, and it saved us a lot of time with beta releases. The main positive is the sheer amount of manual work it eliminates. However, I did run into a small issue with a specific plugin not playing nicely with a newer Xcode version, which required a bit of searching in the GitHub issues to resolve. It wasn't a showstopper, but it added an hour or two to the setup. Still, a very solid tool and great value.
Easy to get going
Needed to automate our app builds. Heard about fastlane. Downloaded it, followed a quick guide, and had fastlane gym building our app in no time. Super convenient. Saved me a lot of clicking around in Xcode.
Love this tool!
I just started using fastlane for our Android app and it's amazing. The fastlane supply for Google Play upload worked perfectly right out of the box! Setting up fastlane screengrab was so easy to get all our localized screenshots. So much better than doing it by hand. I'm telling everyone on my team about this!

Just getting into app dev. Is Fastlane actually free to use forever? Or is there some catch where they try to upsell you later?
Hey, I'm trying to decide between Fastlane and Codemagic for my indie project. Anyone got experience with both? What are the main differences to consider?
